ABSTRACT
This paper describes
the " Tumpek Pengatag
as Local Wisdom in Bali". Local Wisdom is
the knowledge of the community (local) customary Several accumulated
overgenerations, the who live in Certain environments. Tumpek Pengatag regarded as
one of the local wisdom as it contains important
value in maintaining the environment, especially plants. Tumpek pengatag according to the
Hindus is a spontaneous outburst of the mostcareful in describing the
sense of love and affection for plants. Plants are considered important as
a source of life. In this paper, besides describing the value contained in
theceremony Tumpek Pengatag, also
explain the link between Tumpek pengatag
with aspects of ecology, social and economic community. Which of these three
relationships were purpose in the maintenance environment,
especially plants.
